Why do I need acoustic panels?

The quality of sound you hear is influenced by the room. Sound waves from speakers reflect and bounce off of every hard surface: walls near/behind speakers, ceiling, floor, furniture. These reflections diminish the audio quality and introduce phase distortions and other side-effects that deteriorate the quality of your listening experience. In some acoustically-hostile rooms it is challenging to tell the difference between a $150 and $1,500 set of speakers.

Nobody wants to spend good money for bad sound. Our acoustic panels are engineered to absorb certain frequencies and minimizes the reflecting effect of sound waves. By eliminating undesired reflections, the listener gets more of the intended sound from the speakers and enjoys truer, dramatically improved audio and significantly better dialog clarity for movies.

Building a listening environment with acoustically treated walls and ceiling can be expensive and time-consuming. However, these panels offer a less expensive, easy to install - still equally effective - solution.

Whether it is for your dedicated home theater, family room audio or basement recreation room TV, you can get great results by hanging few panels strategically positioned on the walls.

We have 60" X 18" panels in stock which are 2" thick. They are covered in burgundy color fabric which is acoustically transparent. These panels are not only effective, but also add color to your walls and give your listening environment a professional look.
